Why do a DBS?

Through 12 weeks of Lectures in DBS, you will get an overview of God’s redemptive story and read through the entire Bible chronologically. You will learn more about the historical setting and genre of each book and learn to understand the law, covenants, prophecy and how Jesus fulfilled it all. We will have lecture times, one-on-ones, and small groups. Small group is the heartbeat of the school. There we read and study the Bible, discuss and share life together. You’ll be equipped to lead people in small groups with self-made inductive bible studies.

This is a discipleship school where we let the Bible disciple us in community and will help you to continue what you started in your DTS. We desire that the truth we are learning moves us into deeper intimacy with Jesus and transform us to become true worshipers in SPIRIT & TRUTH.

 

 

 

 

Why Taipei,Taiwan?

Do you have a heart for the unreached? There are over 40% of the people groups in the world considered unreached, and there are about 8 people groups in Taiwan considered unreached. At our base, you will be living among the local community. Outside of the lecture time, you will have plenty of opportunities to apply what you learn from DBS.

Bess Yeh:

Bess is from Taiwan. She did her DTS in Skien, Norway in 2013, SBS, Titus Project and SOFM in Taiwan. In 2017, Bess and her team were sent out to Yilan from Taipei to pioneer a new YWAM base. She staffed a DBS in Skien in 2019. Bess likes taking walks, swimming, and spending time with people in her free time.
