Why do a DBS?

The Discipleship Biblical School (DBS), will help the staff and students to discover God – while studying the Bible -, His nature and character. The DBS will be a tool that will make them passionate about the continuous study of the word of God.
Also, we are sure that as a learning community, we will enjoy the experience of studying together and we will learn how to communicate better God’s plan of redemption.

 

 

 

 

 

Why Pereira, Colombia?

YWAM Pereira is located in the coffee region of Colombia. This beautiful region is an area that you can visit at any time of the year, with maximum temperatures of about 25º and minimum of about 13º, therefore, it is cool, it can delight a soft rain at any moment. Pereira, the so call the capital of the region, is a colorful city dotted by the nice green of its mountains and its fruitful coffee plantations. The aroma of coffee is perceived everywhere, a good meeting in the city deserves to be sitting in a place with your cup of coffee or a hot chocolate with the delicious Bono bread.  We invite you to come and enjoy the rich climate, drink coffee and accompany it with the study of the Word of God.

 

 

 

School Leaders

Felix (Cuban) and Yury (Colombian), came to pioneer Youth with a Mission in
Pereira 9 years ago. They were sent from Cartagena and Havana. We join God's
work in this beautiful region of mountains and cool weather.
We love young people and our purpose is to restore and mentor young people to
find their destiny in God and develop them to be missionaries of influence in the
different spheres of society.
In YWAM Pereira, until now, we have carried out seventeen DTS, four School of
Ministry Development and one Transcultural Mission School.
