Why do a DBS?
Discipleship does not end with Discipleship Training School but continues on as one dives into the Word of God. And we believe studying the Word of God is one of the most crucial and essential tools for discipleship!  Discipleship Bible School (DBS) provides a perfect opportunity for students to examine and go through all the 66 books in the bible. Throughout DBS, students will observe the chronology of biblical events, understand each books’ historical context, learn why it was written and see the main ideas. Moreover, students will meet and engage with different bible teachers as they live in a Christ centered community. While students have established basic foundations of worship, intercession, and meditation during DTS, throughout DBS students will be able to witness their foundations grow stronger without being shaken by any hindrance.

Why Monroe?
YWAM-AIIM is located in Monroe, Washington State, where it is surrounded by the presence of God. Our vision is to build a community that is centered on the Holy Spirit, the Great Commission, and the Holy Bible.  Through Discipleship Bible School, we seek to move one step closer to our vision. To have a Bible School is necessary here in YWAM-AIIM base. We believe that revival comes through prayers and the Word of God. In order for us to witness this revival, we need to know God and make Him known. If you have a heart for Seattle, this school would be appropriate for you!

School leader

My Korean name is Guhyung Lee, or Paul in English. It’s been 20 years ever since I decided to live a life of knowing Him and making Him known. In 2011, I finished my School of Biblical Studies in Jeju, South Korea and moved to Seattle where I co-lead the Bible Core Course and Eagle School of Biblical Studies (2014 – 2016). In 2016 I completed DBS in Kona and went to Jeju Island to staff for DBS. From there I have been sent out to assist with the DBS in the Dominican Republic last year as well as the one starting this year in L.A. and here in Monroe where I will be leading the school. The Lord is paving the way for the Word of God to spread throughout the world!
