Ipoh, also called the hill city, is a city recently listed by Lonely Planet as one of the best Asian destinations to visit. It’s a popular spot among travelers for it’s history, cafes, caves, mountains and it’s legendary tasty food. In fact, food pilgrims from all over Malaysia and Singapore make their way on weekends to enjoy Ipoh’s culinary delights. It’s also the gateway to the Cameron Highlands famous for it’s cooler weather, hiking, tea plantations and strawberries! YWAM Ipoh vision is to mobilize and disciple young people to be passionate for God, and for missions, empowering them to start new things.

Ipoh girl from Malaysia. Spent the last 12 years living in Singapore, of which 8 years working in financial industries. After encountering Jesus in Singapore, she felt God’s call for mission, thus quitting her job to heed God’s call and joined DTS in YWAM Singapore. After completing, she served Bible Society of Singapore for 2 years. Later on did SBS in YWAM Taiwan and SoFM with YWAM Singapore to prepare herself to serve long term in Nepal. The plan was halted due to pandemic. She served where God placed her right now, in YWAM Ipoh, to pioneer and lead DBS in YWAM Ipoh. Her heart beats for the unreached, marginalised and underprivilleged. But God is growing her love to teach the Word of God. She is also pursuing online Master in Theological studies with Faith International University.
